Nice Highway Tires

I live in Anchorage, Alaska and I know all about snow. I have no choice to drive in it as I have to get to work to take care of my family. I bought Michelin Latitude X Ice tires for my Jeep Cherokee V8 Hemi and I was really shocked at how well they handled the packed snow. With my old tires, the rear of my Jeep would be slipping and sliding consistently. I’m glad that I listened to my mailman’s advice and bought these tires. I was a bit apprehensive because of the cost but they were surely worth it.

Simply Great Tires

I went to the tire shop because I noticed some metal coming out of my tires. The mechanic suggested the Michelin Latitude X-Ice tires for my 2004 Honda Accord. They were all little more expensive than I would have liked but the mechanic told me that I would be thrilled with the tires and they were worth the money. My mechanic is really cute and knowledgeable too so I sprung for the tires. He was 100% right. I can get through packed snow, ice and slush. Even turning corners in the snow is easy with these tires. I love these tires and my mechanic for recommending them.

Noisier Than I’d Like

Well I bought these tires because I had spoken to several people that absolutely loved them. I must admit that they handle really well in the snow, pretty good getting through the slush and incredibly well on ice. However, what’s up with the crazy noise on dry roads? I mean, the tires hum and I mean hum loudly. It’s a constant humming noise. If it wasn’t for this annoying humming noise, I would say to run right out and buy these tires. The noise is just a little too much. If they could fix the humming, I’d say they were perfect tires. Hummmm.
